Update: Rachel Berg Jailed after Fatal Motorcycle Crash on US 60 near Dobson Road in Mesa

Mesa, Ariz. – 18-year-old Rachel Nicole Berg has been jailed after causing the death of Michael Clark, who was riding his motorcycle a week ago on Highway 60 in Mesa.

The deadly traffic collision happened at around 11 p.m. on March 13 on State Route 60 near Dobson Road.

According to a preliminary investigation, Berg was speeding  her 2024 Chevy Corvette when she hit a motorcycle from behind.

The rider was pronounced dead at the scene.

Mesa, Ariz. – 46-year-old Michael Clark died after being struck by a car while riding a motorcycle in Mesa on Tuesday night.

According to the authorities, the fatal motorcycle accident happened at around 11 p.m. on US 60 eastbound near Dobson Road.

DPS troopers say an 18-year-old girl was driving a 2024 Chevy Corvette when she hit a motorcycle from behind.

The impact of the crash pushed the bike to a concrete wall and Clark was ejected.

The Corvette driver stopped and attempted to perform CPR on Clark who succumbed to his injuries.

The girl stayed at the scene after the crash and cooperated with the authorities.

The accident remains under investigation.
