Echo Park, CA – A pedestrian was hit and severely injured by a vehicle in Echo Park on Saturday night, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
The incident took place on Sunset Boulevard near Alvarado Street just before 10 p.m. April 13.
Police said the pedestrian was trying to cross the road when they were hit by a westbound vehicle.
The victim was taken to a hospital with major injuries.
No further details were released.
The cause of the collision is under investigation.
