Roseville, CA – A passenger was killed and a driver sustained serious injuries following a two-vehicle collision at an intersection near Roseville Monday evening, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The deadly accident was reported at about 6:45 p.m. on April 15 at the intersection of Walerga Road and Doyle Ranch Drive, near residential neighborhoods, authorities said.
According to the CHP, a Mazda 3 and a Mercedes-Benz were involved in the crash
A male passenger in the Mazda was killed in the incident.
The Mazda driver was severely injured while the Mercedes driver, a man, had complaints of pain and was also taken to a hospital.
The identity of the deceased passenger was not released pending notification of the family.
The incident remains under investigation.
