The Reedley woman was transported to an area hospital where she died while receiving treatment
Reedley, CA. – Maria Cruz, 72, has been identified as the woman who died in a pedestrian accident on Tuesday night in Reedley.
The fatal collision was reported around 8 p.m. in the area of Springfield and Justine Avenues, according to the Fresno Police Department.
Cruz was crossing the street with her walker when she was hit by a car.
The Reedley woman was transported to an area hospital where she died while receiving treatment, according to the Fresno County Coroner’s Office.
The driver of the involved car stayed at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.
