Desert Hot Springs, CA. – A 41-year-old Indio man was killed in a two-vehicle collision on Interstate 10 in Desert Hot Springs early Thursday morning.
The California Highway Patrol said the crash happened at around 1:58 a.m. on 10 Freeway just east of Palm Drive.
Reportedly, the Indio man was driving a pickup truck when for unknown reasons it veered to the right side of the freeway side-swiping another car.
The pickup then hit a sign before overturning and ejecting the driver.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
The 51-year-old Arizona woman in the other car was not injured.
The name of the deceased was not disclosed.
The wreck remains under investigation.
