A wrong-way driver was traveling east in the westbound lanes of Loop 101 when it crashed with a second vehicle that hit a third car
Scottsdale, Ariz. – Authorities are investigating a serious injury wrong-way collision on Loop 101 in Scottsdale early Saturday morning.
The incident happened at around 4 a.m. on Loop 101 near Scottsdale Road.
A wrong-way driver was traveling east in the westbound lanes of Loop 101 when it crashed with a second vehicle that hit a third car.
The wrong-way driver and the occupant in the second car were severely hurt. No one was injured in the third vehicle.
No additional information about the wreck was provided.
An investigation is ongoing.
