Berkeley police said a driver was traveling south on San Pablo Avenue when they crashed into parked cars and pinned a bicyclist against one of the vehicles
Berkeley, CA – A bicyclist was injured in a collision with a vehicle in Berkeley on Sunday morning, according to a report by the Berkeley Police Department.
The crash happened on San Pablo Avenue south of Dwight Way shortly before 10:50 a.m.
Berkeley police said a driver was traveling south on San Pablo Avenue when they crashed into parked cars and pinned a bicyclist against one of the vehicles.
The bicyclist was extricated and hospitalized with a severe leg injury.
The involved driver stayed at the scene after the accident.
The cause of the collision is under investigation.
